Geographically clearly located between the rivers Moselle, Rhine and Nahe, the Hunsrück presents itself with a unique low mountain range landscape and first-class opportunities for hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and nature lovers.
Hilly, robust, original and a little wild. This is how you could describe the Hunsrück to a visitor who is not familiar with the area. The best way to get to know the Hunsrück is to set off on foot. The Saar-Hunsrück Climb is ideal for this. The multiple award-winning premium long-distance hiking trail covers 410 km and 27 stages from Perl to Boppard. There are also 114 dream loops around the trail to further explore the Hunsrück.
Mountain bikers have also been thought of in the Hunsrück. The trail parks make ideal use of the landscape to create special trail experiences.
