For hikers and nature lovers there is still a lot more to discover around the Saar-Hunsrück Climb. In the region between the Moselle, Rhine, Saar and Nahe, a dense network of 114 fantastic premium trails for hikes, on which you can literally dream, has emerged: the "Traumschleifen Saar-Hunsrück".
Most of the dream loops run on narrow, natural paths, past idyllic watercourses and imposing rock formations to breathtaking vantage points and impressive natural and cultural monuments. Six dream loops even run directly through the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. Hikes on the Traumschleifen are definitely a relaxing nature experience!
The dream loops are between 6 and 20 km long and designed as circular routes. Some of them can be reached directly from the Saar-Hunsrück Climb, others can be found a short distance away. No matter where you start: In any case, the dream loops open up the possibility of further discovery tours around the Saar-Hunsrück Climb!
As premium trails, they are consistently signposted in accordance with the strict guidelines of the German Hiking Institute, and numerous signposts with distance information make it easier to find your way along the way.
Along the paths you will find numerous beautiful places to rest and linger. This also includes the hiker-friendly inns along the paths, of which there is at least one on each of the dream loops.
The "WanderCent" project has been in place on the Traumschleifen since spring 2016 in order to maintain the high quality of the paths in the long term. The idea behind it is that hikers can support the maintenance of one or all of the dream loops with a voluntary contribution.
